Above it All Roofing was responsive friendly and professional as were the other two roofers who gave us an estimate. One just quoted us after viewing us on Google Earth but the other guy who came by was great too. He took photos and emailed them back with his estimate. It was a difficult choice between the two who stopped by. In the end my husband chose Above It All Roofing. I do not remember why but after talking again with him on the phone my husband was satisfied. Part of it I think was that they would work to get the wood ahead of time for the facia and planks so my husband could prepaint them before they would be installed. That way we did not need to hire a painter. 

A mild storm was approaching so the company wanted to postpone the project. I did not want to postpone because 20% chance of rain even for a few days in a row is not much of a chance in OC. In any case, it was postponed till later in the week, so it took longer than the original time estimate, I assume because work started over a week end and also the rescheduling of workers and deliveries. 
The contractor was available by phone for any questions we had .The job went well, pretty clean and organized. We paid after we were satisfied. Even now I notice a few nails and long staples in the garden which is inevitable so be a little careful; however, they were very neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. Finally, no leaks even after several storms since last October! 
I would recommend their services to others looking for a friendly, knowledgable and professional staff.
