Very happy with this contractor.  We had to do this by proxy with our son who lives in our investment home.  We communicated with Scott by phone and had him check out a leak that had discolored the ceiling drywall.  We asked him to coordinate with our son for the inspection.  He made an appointment, arrived on time and gave me a detailed report and called me to discuss the  problem.  This was a 35 year old original roof that the builder had cut corners on – however, it did last 35 years.  Scott explained why the roof had failed, how he would use different materials to make sure it didn’t happen again and gave me a price quote.  He was highly rated on Angie’s List, so I didn’t bother wth another bid (when I bought the house I got a re-roof bid from another roofer through my Real Estate agent, and Scott’s was in the ball-park).
I gave him the go-ahead and he arranged the start time with my son.  He started the work on time, finished about half a day later than he thought he would, and did a very professional job.  My son, who I am exposing to as much home-ownership problems as I can for when he buys his own place, was guided by Scott throughout the whole process.  He even gave him a walk-through at the finish to explain what to look for in the future.  Our son learned a lot.  Scott communicated the whole way with me, explaining what he was doing and why, where he was improving the roof’s integrity and updating me.
I strongly recommend this roofer and would surely call him first the next time we need roofing services.
