Mike Allen came out on November 1 to look at our roof, which was leaking in several places, and give me an estimate. He was professional, knowledgeable and seemed very honest. He gave me an estimate and wrote up the contact while he was there, unlike the other companies that would take several days. His price was much lower than the other bids and he did not want any $$ until the project was finish and we were completely satisfied. He email some references that day. I looked at them and they looked great so we decided to go with his company. Because of rain, he wasn’t able to start until December 20 (Tuesday).  His crew arrived at 7am, worked hard all day and stayed until the sun went down. They were all very professional and cleaned up each day.  They removed the old tile roof, installed OSB, new galvanized pipe flashing, edge metal, new vents, painted pipes/vents to the color of the new tile and hauled away all the debris. They finished Friday morning (would have finished Thursday afternoon but they ran out of tiles).  The roof looks great! We are extremely happy with our new roof (although it hasn’t rained since so we haven’t been able to test it out). However, Mike and his crew did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him to everyone! We couldn’t believe his price and were a little concerned that it might go up once they removed the old roof and find rotted wood which would need to be replace but to our amazement, none of the wood needed to be replaced. He is very true to his word – regarding the price and job time (he said it would take less than a week unlike the other companies that said it would take 1-2 weeks). You don’t find many people/companies like this that you can trust and that do such an excellent job!!
