Above it All Roofing replaced wood shake roof with asphalt composition shingles on our 1,900-square-foot home plus detached two-car garage with an attached office. – Removed old roof, applied new plywood, paper, flashing, replaced fascia boards around most or all of the house, replaced dry rotted shiplap, installed new roof.

Everything went great. Our original estimate came in at $12,000 but with the caveat that they wouldn’t know how much wood would need to be replaced due to dry rot. We were dealing with an original roof from 1960 so we were not surprised that we needed more replaced. They started on Monday and finished Friday afternoon. Jay updated us pretty much every day on how the project was progressing. Each evening they cleaned up the area well. We had our final inspection on Sunday afternoon and pointed out a few items we wanted adjusted (nothing major). Since it was Sunday afternoon we said he could do the adjustments on Monday but he did them all on-the-spot and everything looks great. When Jay came by to pick up our check he adjusted our invoice a couple hundred dollars lower because they didn’t end up replacing a few boards he thought we would need. We’re very happy with our new roof and would use them again.
