I had a couple small areas of dry rot in the eaves, and a larger area in the garage ceiling, that I was concerned about.  I called Above It All Roofing because of their great reputation on Angie’s List, and they came out and took a look.  I have an old roof that will likely need replacement in the next 5 years or so, and the last time it was replaced the new roof was simply added on top of the existing roof, so his recommendation was that the roof should just be repaired over the garage leak, and the areas of dry rot be ignored until the roof was replaced.  Otherwise, the process of removing and replacing the bad wood would be pretty pricey.
On the repair date, they arrived promptly on time, and the repair was done in less than an hour and a half.  They were very patient in answering all my questions about both the repair and the general state of my roof.
