Our home was built in 1984 and the roof needed work. Dave from Above it All Roofing came out, climbed on our roof and walked around the house and gave us an estimate on the work to be done. He explained it all – the crew would remove all the tiles, add an additional layer of felt to prevent leaks, and reset the tiles, discarding the broken ones and replacing them with new tiles to match as closely as possible. We also had a lot of dry rot under the eaves, so the estimate included replacing quite a bit of the fascia board with treated and pre primed wood. He gave us the per foot costs for the dry rotted wood replacement as well as the cost for the tile reset, so there were no surprises at completion. We signed the contract and agreed on a start date.
Manuel and his crew started promptly on Monday morning, 6/26, and the work was completed by noon on 6/29. The last day included a complete power washing of the entire roof, after which they made sure they picked up every nail and every piece of debris that might have been left. We walked around the house, found one small thing on the roof that needed attention, and that was it. I have to mention that the weather was really warm for all 4 days that they worked on our roof, but they kept at it all day, every day.
